FAQ
What important factors should be considered during a newborn photography session to ensure the best results?
1.Bathe your newborn one hour before the photography session, massage their entire body in the water, and keep them in the water for at least 20 minutes.
2. Then, completely dry your newborn, put on a diaper, and wrap them in several blankets instead of dressing them to keep them warm. Bring them to the studio this way, as putting on and taking off clothes can disturb their calmness and reduce their desire to sleep.
3. Do not feed your newborn before the bath; instead, wait until after the bath to complete the feeding process and ensure they are fully satisfied. After feeding, make sure to burp your baby, as failing to do so can cause stomach pain, hiccups, and reflux, all of which can affect their cooperation during the photography session. Additionally, if your baby wants to feed during the session, the feeding and burping process should be done patiently and completely.
4. The time allocated for your newborn is planned based on experience and the baby’s needs. In fact, the time required for photography is half of the allocated time, and the rest is reserved for unforeseen circumstances.
5. If your newborn is formula-fed, make sure to bring the bottle and formula. If they are breastfed, please bring some expressed milk in a bottle.
6. Be sure to bring personal items such as a pacifier, diapers, and a baby brush.
7. Keep in mind that your newborn determines the flow and type of photography. Based on their condition and habits, the positions will be chosen and photographed accordingly.
What ages are suitable for photography, and what essential items are needed?
1. The best time for newborn photography is between seven to fourteen days old when the baby is asleep. The baby should be bathed one hour before the session and brought to the studio without clothes, wrapped in several blankets.
Required items: Personal baby essentials such as a bottle, pacifier, brush, blanket, and diapers.
2. 3 to 4 months old: Photography is done while the baby is awake. At this stage, the baby reacts to people around them, responds to play, and smiles.
Required items: Personal baby essentials such as a bottle, pacifier, diapers, brush, blanket, and several outfits (using outfits depends on the baby’s cooperation and suitable conditions for dressed photography).
3. 6 to 7 months old: The baby can lie on their stomach while holding their head and neck up. They are also able to grab their feet while lying on their back.
Required items: A variety of outfits (e.g., classic, casual, etc.) with matching shoes, a brush, and diapers.
4. 8 to 10 months old: The baby has developed the ability to sit and crawl.
Required items: A variety of simple outfits (e.g., classic, casual, etc.), matching shoes, a brush, and diapers.
5. 1 year old: Capturing the first birthday and the baby’s ability to stand.
Required items: A variety of outfits (e.g., classic, casual, etc.), matching shoes, a brush, and diapers. To enhance the beauty of the birthday photos, it is recommended to bring a few helium balloons on the day of the shoot.
6. After 1 year:
Required items: A variety of outfits (e.g., classic, casual, etc.), matching shoes, a brush, and diapers.
7. Pregnancy: The best time for maternity photography is during the 8th month of pregnancy.
Required items: A few baby toys, a pair of newborn shoes, 3 to 5 sets of baby clothes, and 3 to 5 sets of clothing for the parents in soft colors and complementary tones. For the mother, white undergarments are recommended.
8. Family: Photography is possible at all ages, but our recommendation is between 9 to 15 months. It is better to allocate separate times for each session, as experience has shown that a child may not have enough energy for both photography sessions.
Required items: Matching outfits with soft color combinations for all family members. To maintain the cleanliness of the studio, please clean the soles of your shoes with a cleaner the day before your photography session.
What factors should we consider when selecting photos?
It is recommended to avoid bringing your child on the day of selecting photos for better focus and decision-making.
